A method for manufacturing a clathrate-like carbon dot is used to solve the problem of the conventional carbon dot which cannot be used to directly be administrated to an object due to the smaller size of the conventional carbon dot. The method includes: dissolving citric acid in poly (ethylene glycol) 2-amino ethyl ether to obtain a first mixture. Cetyltrimethylammonium vromide (CTAB) and sodium hydroxide (NaOH) are sequentially added into the first mixture to obtain a second mixture. The second mixture is sealed in a Teflon-coated container in a stainless-steel autoclave container, followed by being headed to obtain a clear, yellow-colored solution. A supernatant obtained by centrifugation of the clear, yellow-colored solution is removed, and a solution for purification is obtained. The solution for purification is passed through ammonium chloride saturated column and eluted with nano-pure water to obtain an eluate. The clathrate-like carbon dot (C-dotCL) is obtained by vaccum heating the eluate.一種多孔籠狀奈米碳點的製造方法,係用以解決習用奈米碳點的粒徑過小,無法應用於直接投予生物體的問題。該多孔籠狀奈米碳點的製造方法包含:將檸檬酸溶解於聚乙二醇2-胺乙基醚以得一第一混合液;將溴化十六烷基三甲銨及氫氧化鈉依序加入該第一混合液中以得一第二混合液;將該第二混合液封裝於具有聚四氟乙烯塗層之容器中,並裝於一不鏽鋼微波容器中,進行加熱以得一黃色澄清溶液;對該黃色澄清溶液進行離心並去除一上清液以得一待純化液;使該待純化液通過氯化銨飽和管柱,再以奈米純水進行洗脫以得一洗出液;及對該洗出液進行真空加熱以得一多孔籠狀奈米碳點。
