PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope having a constitution that the observation can be performed by switching a normal observation and a magnified observation by a simple constitution, and the enlargement can be suppressed, and to provide an endoscopic apparatus adopting the endoscope.
SOLUTION: This endoscopic apparatus is equipped with the endoscope 2 and an image transmitting means 17. The endoscope 2 has an insertion section 10 and a treating utensil through channel 22, and observes an observation area by using an observing means. The insertion section 10 is equipped with the observing means having an object optical system 24 on the distal end section 18. The treating utensil through channel 22 is installed in a manner to make the insertion section pass through, and has an opening 23 at an area being adjacent to the object optical system on the distal end section. The image transmitting means 17 is arranged in a space in front of the object optical system, and between the observation area and the front surface of the endoscope. An observation image which is magnified above an observation image acquired by the object optical system alone can be acquired by an optical system which is the composition of the image transmitting means and the object optical system.
