PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tick repelling efficacy enhancer capable of enhancing the tick repelling efficacy of a tick repellent component and effective, in particular, for protecting, from harms caused by ticks, the skin of a garment wearer bared from a garment treated therewith and a tick repelling method using a tick repellent composition with which the same is mixed.SOLUTION: The provided tick repelling efficacy enhancer comprises one, two, or more types selected from among glycol or glycol ether compounds having 4-10 carbon atoms and is mixed with a tick repellent composition including ethyl 3-(N-butylacetamide)propionate as a tick repellent component.
