The present invention relates to a method for determining an attention starting time of a user gazing an image to provide more reliable visual data considering gazing after focus calibration. According to the present invention, the method comprises: a displaying step of displaying a gazing screen to be gazed by a user after displaying a calibration screen to set a focal point of the user； a gazing data measuring step of measuring user′s gazing intensity for each gazing region, which is divided from the gazing screen into a fixed size； and a determination step of determining a point of time immediately after a gazing time interval, in which the gazing intensity is measured, as an attention time of the user when the gazing intensity above a certain level is continuously measured for a predetermined time from the point of time when the user gazes the gazing screen.본 발명은 초점교정을 한 후 일어나는 응시현상을 고려하여 보다 신뢰성이 우수한 시각 데이터를 제공할 수 있도록 영상을 응시하는 사용자의 주의집중 개시시간을 판정하는 방법에 관한 것이다.본 발명에 따라 영상을 응시하는 사용자의 주의집중 개시시간을 판정하는 방법은, 사용자의 시야초점을 맞출 교정화면을 디스플레이한 후, 사용자가 주시할 주시화면을 디스플레이하는 단계, 주시화면을 일정한 크기로 분할한 영역에 대한 사용자의 주시영역별 주시강도를 측정하는 주시데이터 측정단계, 및 주시화면을 최초 주시한 때로부터 소정시간 동안 일정수준 이상의 주시강도가 연속하여 측정된 경우, 해당 주시강도가 측정된 주시시간 구간의 직후시점을 사용자의 주의집중 시간으로 판정하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
