PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the enhanced utilization of a physiologically active substance, such as ferulic acid, having an anti-oxidative action in vivo with an increased solubility of the physiologically active substance.SOLUTION: According to the present invention, a rice bran enzyme-treated product is obtained by subjecting a rice bran of pigmented rice, such as purple rice, to enzyme treatment with a cellulase enzyme agent. Furthermore, an extract, preferably a water extract, of the rice bran enzyme-treated product is obtained. The rice bran enzyme-treated product or the water extract thereof is used as a dissolution aid or an absorption promoter of a physiologically active substance.
