The present invention provides an anti-human FOLR1 antibody which specifically recognizes and binds an amino acid sequence of a human FOLR1 or a stereostructure thereof and which further has high effector activity such as antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC activity) for a disease associated with a human FOLR1 expressing cell. The present invention is able to provide a method for manufacturing a monoclonal antibody which specifically recognizes and binds the amino acid sequence of the human FOLR1 or the stereostructure thereof and further has the ADCC activity and CDC activity or a fragment of the antibody, a DNA coding the antibody, a vector containing the DNA, a transformant ob tained by introducing the vector, and the antibody using the transformant or a fragment of the antibody.
