A holder for selectively securing the handle of a pet leash to a door frame for a home, mobile home, manufactured home, boat house or RV, said holder comprising: a component fixedly attached to a door frame, said component comprising a base and a pair of opposed plates protruding from opposite sides of said base, wherein each of said plates comprises a bore having a longitudinal axis, said bores oriented such that they face one another and such that the longitudinal axis of each bore is collinear with the longitudinal axis of the opposing bore and a rod, selectively disposed through said bores between said plates.
