PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a horticultural tool, such as a horticultural trimmer, capable of improving ease of handling by enabling the tool body to be placed as it is at a working site under a hanging state of the body unit, although a battery device capable of weight reduction by attaching a light adapter onto a battery fitting section and storing a heavy battery pack into a body unit being hung from a waist belt of a user is conventionally troublesome because the user needs to remove the whole body unit before leaving a working site even in pausing trimming work.SOLUTION: The horticultural tool is structured so that an adapter unit 22 fitted onto a tool body can be separated from a body unit 21 which a user fits onto its body at a connector connection section C1 of an adapter code 23.【課題】生垣バリカン等の園芸工具において、バッテリ装着部に軽いアダプタを取り付け、重いバッテリパックを使用者の腰ベルトに吊り下げた本体ユニットに収容することにより、園芸工具の軽量化を図るバッテリ装置において、従来作業を中断等する際には、本体ユニットごと取り外して作業現場を離れていたため、取り扱いが面倒であった。本発明では、本体ユニットを吊り下げ状態のまま工具本体を作業現場に置いておけるようにしてその取り扱い性をよくすることを目的とする。【解決手段】工具本体部に装着するアダプタユニット２２と使用者が身体に装備する本体ユニット２１をアダプタコード２３のコネクタ接続部Ｃ１で分離できるようにする。【選択図】図４
