Provided is a make-up remover that has excellent cleaning power against oily dirt, is capable of being washed away with water, that is not prone to dripping when picked up, has superior spreadability, and has superior dischargeability when packed into a pump dispenser. This make-up remover contains a thickener (A), an oil (B) and a surfactant (C), wherein 0.1 to 10.0 wt% of the make-up remover comprises a compound represented by formula (1) as the thickener (A).
