PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily start a notification operation of a prescribed time interval at the time of fishing.SOLUTION: A double bearing reel 10 is a reel capable of sending out a fishing line forward. The double bearing reel 10 includes a reel body 12, a handle 14, a body of rotation which is a spool 16 for winding the line, a notification part 18 and a controller 20. The handle 14 is provided on the reel body 12 to be rotatable. The spool 16 rotates at least in a line winding direction as a result of being interlocked with rotation of the handle 14. The notification part 18 is capable of notifying a prescribed time interval.
