The advancing substrate can be a belt assembly that includes an outer layer, an inner layer, and one or more elastic strands disposed between the outer layer and the inner layer. A belt assembly can rotate the process member about a longitudinal axis of rotation. A process member can advance the belt assembly to the first laser source. A first laser source provides a line of weakness in the belt assembly.
