A medical implant for implanting in a body lumen includes multiple filamentary components braided into an elongate structure having a first end and a second end and defining an implant lumen, wherein the braiding is configured to allow the structure to move between a first configuration and a second configuration, wherein the first configuration is longer than the second configuration and has a smaller cross-sectional area, the implant additionally including flexible material on the outside or inside of the filamentary components, wherein the flexible material is distributed uniformly along the elongate structure when it is in the first configuration and when it is in the second configuration, and wherein the flexible material is attached to the elongate structure at more than two attachment points which are substantially evenly distributed along the elongate structure and wherein the flexible material is not attached to the structure between the attachment points.On décrit un implant médical pour implantation dans une lumière corporelle, qui comprend plusieurs éléments filamenteux tressés en une structure allongée présentant une première extrémité et une seconde extrémité et délimitant une lumière dimplant.
