A medical implant having a composite structure is formed by combining more than two medical implant materials. The biodegradation rates of the medical implant materials are different. The medical implant materials are fitted to each other and present an intertwined composite structure to form a dense body. Each of the medical implant materials still maintains the respective biological properties and physical and mechanical properties, and is of a continuous structure.
