The invention discloses a tray system (1) comprising a tray (2) with a base (4) having holding arrangements (6) for holding implant components, instruments and/or instrument holders, at least a first and a second information sheet (3, 3, 3") which both are adapted to be independently removably arranged on said base of said tray. Each information sheet has its own distribution of holes which are placed in register with the holding arrangements of the base when the information sheet is arranged on the base, so that an implant component, instrument or instrument holder is arrangable into one of said holing arrangements (6) through a respective one of said holes (7, 7").Furthermore, a method of preparing a customized information sheet (3, 3, 3") for a tray (2) with a base (4) having holding arrangements (6) in a specific pattern for holding implant components, instruments and/or instrument holders is disclosed.
