A surgical device adapter for coupling an end effector to a handle assembly is disclosed. The surgical device adapter includes: a housing including a proximal end couplable to a distal end of a handle assembly and a drive coupling assembly and selectively couplable to the handle assembly, the drive coupling assembly including a tubular clamping member having at least one flexible member, the tubular clamping member movable from a proximal position in which the at least one flexible member is disengaged from the distal end of the handle assembly to a distal position in which the at least one flexible member is engaged to the distal end of the handle assembly.
