The present invention relates to a composition comprising a Saussurea pulchella fisch extract as an active ingredient for preventing and curing allergic diseases, and more particularly, to a pharmaceutical composition, external preparation for skin care, a cosmetic composition and a functional food comprising a Saussurea pulchella fisch extract as an active ingredient for preventing and curing or relieving allergic diseases. The Saussurea pulchella fisch extract of the present invention can be useful as an active ingredient of a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or curing various allergic diseases since the extract shows degranulation suppressive activation as the result of performing &beta；-Hexosaminidase assay by using a RBL-2H3 cell strain.본 발명은 각시취 추출물을 유효성분으로 함유하는 알레르기성 질환의 예방 및 치료용 조성물에 관한 것으로서, 보다 상세하게 각시취(Saussurea pulchella (Fisch.)) 추출물을 유효성분으로 함유하는 알레르기성 질환의 예방 및 치료용 또는 개선용 약학적 조성물, 피부외용제, 화장료 조성물 및 건강식품에 관한 것이다.본 발명의 각시취 추출물은 RBL-2H3 세포주를 이용하여 β-헥소사미니다제 검정(Hexosaminidase assay)을 수행한 결과 탈과립 억제 활성을 나타냄으로써, 다양한 알레르기성 질환의 예방 또는 치료용 약학적 조성물의 유효성분으로서 유용하게 사용될 수 있다.
