PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article capable of preventing trouble such as wetting or dirtying open-crotch pants (Chinese baby pants, Kaidangku) and being worn, with the open-crotch pants put thereon.SOLUTION: A disposable diaper 1 comprises: a waist holding area R1 for holding the disposable diaper around the body of a wearer at a front waist area and a back waist area and a low absorption part 55 on a skin-contact-side surface of a trunk holding area, where fluid absorption of the low absorption area is lower than that of a skin-contact-side surface of an area where an absorber is disposed in the crotch part.
