Only the area of the diaper main body (2) excluding the non-adsorption area (E1) thereof from a crease (2A) to a prescribed location in the longitudinal direction is adsorbed to the first belt (20). The belts (20, 27) are moved in this state so that the disposable diaper (1) is conveyed with the crease (2A) facing the downstream side and the front part and the rear part of the diaper (2) become spaced apart from each other as the non-adsorption area (E1) is being separated from the first belt (20).
