PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new morphinan derivative or a pharmacologically acceptable acid addition salt thereof useful for prophylaxis or therapy of various diseases and symptoms associated with opioid &kappa receptors, and to provide a pharmaceutical comprising the compound as an active ingredient.SOLUTION: The morphinan derivative having a specific structure or a pharmacologically acceptable acid addition salt thereof such as 17-(cyclopropylmethyl)-4,5&alpha-epoxy-3,6&alpha-dihydroxy-8-oxa-6,14-endoethanomorphinan-7&alpha-(N-benzyl)carboxamide hydrochloride is provided.
