An adhesive tape packaging which can be easily opened and applied is disclosed. The adhesive tape packaging bag (10) contains an adhesive tape (14) comprising a support (18) and an adhesive layer (12) provided on one surface of the support (18). The package (10) has a release sheet (16) that is attached to the adhesive layer (12). The release sheet (16) and adhesive tape (14) are folded and the adhesive tape (14) is sealed (38) inside the folded release tape (16). To ensure that a half (26) of the adhesive layer (12) is exposed when the package is opened a half (26) of the tape (14) is temporarily attached (50) to the release sheet. The packaging can be used for an adhesive bandage to assist with single handed application.
