Provided is an electronic device which comprises: a combination unit in which any one among a plurality of optical heads can be selectively detachable； a communication unit capable of communicating with an external device； an optical unit transmitting light reflected from a user body and passing through the optical head which is attached to the combination unit to the external device； and a control unit, when one of the plurality of optical heads is attached to the combination unit, controlling the communication unit to obtain identification information of the optical head attached to the combination unit and transmit the identification information to the external device.
