PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for highly accurately evaluating the quality of skin conditions under wet environment at a part wearing an absorbent article.SOLUTION: The method for evaluating skin conditions includes: causing an absorbent article including a top sheet and an absorber to absorb artificial urine and making the top sheet wet bringing the top sheet under the wet condition into contact with a skin measuring a frictional coefficient of the absorbent article to the skin and evaluating the quality of the skin conditions at a wear part when the absorbent article is worn, on the basis of the magnitude of the measured frictional coefficient.
