PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disinfecting device for disinfecting a worker or the like in order to prevent the outbreak and spread of foot-and-mouth disease, with strong sterilization power.SOLUTION: The disinfecting device 1 includes a space forming member 3 for forming a prescribed space, and the space forming member 3 includes a top surface member 3A constituting a top surface of the prescribed space, side face members 3B constituting right and left side faces of the prescribed space, and a bottom surface member 3C constituting a bottom surface of the prescribed space. The space forming member 3 forms a box-shaped prescribed space by four members of the top surface member 3A, the right and left side face members 3B and the bottom surface member 3C, thereby, remaining two surfaces are turned to openings, and the openings are communicated to the prescribed space formed by the space forming member 3. A chlorine dioxide gas supplier 2 for supplying chlorine dioxide gas to the prescribed space formed by the space forming member 3 is attached to the inner side face, that is, the surface on the prescribed space side, of one side face member 3B.
