PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray diagnostic apparatus for enabling improvement of inspection efficiency.SOLUTION: An X-ray tube 7 generates an X-ray. An X-ray detector 10 detects the X-ray generated from the X-ray tube 7. A placing surface 11 is held between the X-ray tube 7 and the X-ray detector 10 and includes a placing part for a subject and a placing part for a sample collected from the subject. A placing stand support mechanism 3 supports the X-ray detector 10 and the placing surface 11. An X-ray tube support mechanism 4 supports the X-ray tube 7 so that the X-ray tube can rotate around a predetermined rotation axis. An irradiation field limiter 33 limits a solid angle of the X-ray generated from the X-ray tube 7. An imaging control unit 29 controls the X-ray tube support mechanism 4 and the irradiation field limiter 33 to switch an irradiation field for the X-ray generated from the X-ray tube 7 on the placing surface 11 between the placing part for the subject and the placing part for the sample in the placing surface 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
