A method for braking a motor, comprising the steps of: operating the motor such that coils in the motor are energized when the motor operates； terminating operation of the motor so as to allow the motor to return to rest； characterized in that: the energy stored in the coils during operation of the motor is used to brake the motor as the operation of the motor terminates.
