PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seedling planting device designed to miniaturize a planting transmission case and simplify a transmission structure for the planting device and assembling work. SOLUTION: This seedling planting device has such a scheme that an elongated transverse frame 5 is disposed horizontally, and a plurality of planting cases 6 are collocated cantilever-fashion so as to face backward, and a drive unit 4 equipped with a traverse feed shaft 18 for making a horizontal reciprocating traverse feed drive of a seedling stand 7 and acting to make a rotary driving of the traverse feed shaft 18 under supporting one end thereof is fixed on the transverse frame 5, and a support member 19 for rotatably supporting the other end of the traverse feed shaft 18 is fixed on the transverse frame 5, and transmission shafts for power transmission from the drive unit 4 to the respective planting cases 6 are set up along the transverse frame 5 outside the transverse frame 5.
