The present invention refers to a method for and a device to be used when preparing a milk sample. A milk sample containing a first constituent and a second constituent is provided and supplied to the device comprising a first section (1), a second section (2), a third section (3) and fourth section (4). The milk sample is centrifuged to obtain a plurality of sample parts including a first sample part of a first volume, in which first sample part the first constituent is contained, and a second sample part of a second volume, in which second sample part the second constituent is contained. A solution is provided and supplied to the device. At least one of the sample parts is removed from the milk sample. A remaining sample part and the solution are mixed to form a sample mixture in which the remaining sample part is distributed. The sample mixture is discharged from the device.La présente invention porte sur un procédé et un dispositif pouvant être utilisé lors de la préparation dun échantillon de lait. Un échantillon de lait contenant un premier constituant et un second constituant est prévu et alimente le dispositif comportant une première section (1), une deuxième section (2), une troisième section (3) et une quatrième section (4). Léchantillon de lait est centrifugé pour obtenir une pluralité de parties déchantillon comprenant une première partie déchantillon dun premier volume, le premier constituant étant inclus dans ladite première partie déchantillon, et une seconde partie déchantillon dun second volume, le second constituant étant inclus dans ladite seconde partie déchantillon. Une solution est fournie et alimente le dispositif. Au moins lune des parties déchantillon est éliminée de léchantillon de lait. Une partie déchantillon restante et la solution sont mélangées pour former un mélange déchantillon dans lequel est répartie la partie déchantillon restante. Le mélange déchantillon est retiré du dispositif.
