PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pulsation detector, an electronic device and a program, capable of executing an appropriate body movement noise reducing process even if a pulsation component is included in a body movement detection signal.SOLUTION: A pulse detector 100 includes: a body movement noise reducing part 115 for executing a body movement noise reducing process to reduce body movement noise components included in a pulse wave detection signal from a pulse wave detection part 10 including a pulse wave sensor 11 and a determining part 114 for executing a determining process for a body movement detection signal used in the body movement noise reducing process. The determining part 114 decides whether or not a pulsation component is included in a contact pressure detection signal from a body movement detection part 20 having a contact pressure sensor 22, and executes a determining process for determining whether or not the contact pressure detection signal should be used as the body movement detection signal based on the result of decision.
