A dog harness (2) with back piece (2.1), a pair of neck straps (2.2) arranged on each side of the neck (5) and to a common point, a neck fastening (7). Furthermore, a pair of chest straps (2.3), one behind each foreleg, a pair of back straps (2.5), one immediately in front of each hind leg, chest straps (2.3) pass into a tubular guide (2.4). Behind the back straps (2.5), on each side of the back piece (2.1), a pulley (8) is arranged via an elastic cord means (8.1). A band (9) is arranged on each side of the dog's (1) hind legs just above the knee joint. A cord (11) is fastened to the band (9) on the dog's (1 ) left hind leg, runs via the left-hand pulley (8) into the tubular guide (2.4) and up to a sheave (10). From the sheave (10) the cord (11) then runs on via the tubular guide (2.4) and on the right side of the dog (1) via the right-hand pulley (8) and rearward to the band (9) on the right hind leg. The sheave (10) is operated by an electric motor (10.1) or spring. A wireless slave unit (4.1) on the back piece (2.1) and a wireless master unit (4) attached to the owner (3).
