A blend for use in a personal care composition is described. The blend comprises a dialkyl amphiphilic component and an ester of a long chain branched fatty acid and a long chain branched alcohol. The blend can be pastillated and/or flaked, and can be used as the oil phase of an oil-in-water emulsion. The blend is particularly useful in a moisturiser composition for moisturising skin.Linvention porte sur un mélange destiné à être utilisé dans une composition de soins personnels. Le mélange comprend un composant amphiphile dialkylique et un ester dun acide gras à longue chaîne ramifié et dun alcool à longue chaîne ramifié. Le mélange peut être mis sous forme de pastilles et/ou de flocons et peut être utilisé comme phase huileuse dune émulsion dhuile dans leau. Le mélange est particulièrement utile dans une composition de crème hydratante pour lhydratation de la peau.
