An air conditioner according to the present embodiment includes a case with an inlet； an outlet which is formed on the case and through which air sucked via the inlet is discharged； a discharge vane which is formed on one side of the outlet to be moved for opening or closing the outlet； and an ion generating device which is formed on the inner side of the discharge vane and which generates ions. The ion generating device includes a body with an electrode structure including a discharge electrode and a ground electrode； a joining unit which is formed on at least one surface of the body and joined to the case； and an ion discharge unit which is formed on the body and through which the ions generated by high voltages to the electrode structure are discharged.본 실시예에 따른 공기 조화기에는, 흡입부가 형성되는 케이스； 상기 케이스에 형성되며, 상기 흡입부에서 흡입된 공기가 토출되는 토출부； 상기 토출부의 일측에 제공되며, 상기 토출부를 개방 또는 폐쇄하기 위하여, 움직임 가능하게 제공되는 토출베인； 및 상기 토출베인의 내측에 제공되며 이온을 발생시키는 이온 발생장치가 포함되고, 상기 이온 발생장치에는, 방전전극 및 접지전극이 구비되는 전극구조체를 포함하는 본체； 상기 본체의 적어도 일면에 형성되며, 상기 케이스에 결합되는 결합부； 및 상기 본체에 형성되며, 상기 전극구조체에 고전압이 인가되어 발생된 이온이 토출되는 이온토출부가 포함된다.
