In particular, the present invention relates to methods for the localisation, diagnosis, prognosis and/or prediction of therapeutic outcome of brain tumors expressing calcitonin receptor, as well as the treatment and prevention of brain tumors by targeting calcitonin receptor expressing brain tumour cells.
