PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medicine distribution device for automatically recognizing the size and kind, etc. of a medicine and storing the medicine by securing a high degree of freedom.SOLUTION: A medicine distribution device includes: the first recognition section for recognizing the size of a medicine the second recognition section for recognizing the kind of the medicine a storage part for storing the recognized medicine and a storage section for storing the storage position of the medicine stored in the storage part and the kind of the medicine. The storage position of the medicine to be stored is determined based on the storage position stored in the storage section and the size obtained by the first recognition section.
