[Problem] To provide a disposable diaper in which an inner body that has an absorber can be moved vertically in accordance with a wearers lateral decubitus position. [Solution] The problem is solved by: forming the inner body with a liquid-permeable surface sheet provided on the body surface side, a non-liquid-permeable rear surface sheet provided on the side opposite the body, and the absorber provided between the surface sheet and the rear surface sheet and fixing longitudinal front and back end portions of the inner body to an inner surface of an outer body, and not fixing the portion between the longitudinal front and back end portions of the inner body to the inner surface of the outer body.
