A kit for accessing a hollow anatomical structure (HAS) of a patient includes puncturing the patient's skin with a needle, upon which is disposed a cannula (8). A tip portion of the needle is inserted into the HAS. A distal portion of the cannula is advanced distally along the needle, until the distal portion of the cannula is in the HAS. The needle is removed from the HAS while the distal portion of the cannula remains in the HAS. A guide wire (13) is inserted into the HAS via the cannula. The cannula is removed from the HAS while at least a portion of the guide wire remains in the HAS.La présente invention concerne un kit pour accéder à une structure anatomique creuse (HAS, Hollow Anatomical Structure) d'un patient comprenant la perforation de la peau du patient avec une aiguille, sur laquelle est disposée une canule (8). Une partie de pointe de l'aiguille est insérée dans la HAS. Une partie distale de la canule est avancée de manière distale le long de l'aiguille, jusqu'à ce que la partie distale de la canule soit dans la HAS. L'aiguille est retirée de la HAS tandis que la partie distale de la canule reste dans la HAS. Un fil de guidage (13) est inséré dans la HAS par l'intermédiaire de la canule. La canule est retirée de la HAS tandis qu'au moins une partie du fil de guidage reste dans la HAS.
