PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sample soil that is located at approximately several tens of cm from the ground surface without breaking the soil structure while saving power. SOLUTION: A cylinder 9 for sampling soil being made of synthetic resin is fitted to a hydraulic elevation device 3 that a vehicle 2 for agricultural use has and is inserted nearly vertically into the ground by hydraulic control by a specific depth and then pulled, thus sampling soil being loaded into the cylinder 9. For easily taking out soil being loaded into the cylinder 9 for sampling soil, the material of the cylinder 9 for sampling soil is made of elastic synthetic resin, one break 15 is given in the vertical direction of the cylinder 9 up to the middle of the cylinder, and the break 15 is spread by an accessory groove- opening tool 18, thus taking out soil from the cylinder 9 with less force. Also, the material of the cylinder 9 for sampling soil is made of transparent synthetic resin, it is judged whether the sampling is appropriate or not without taking out the sampled sample from the cylinder 9, and the total length of the sample and the thickness of the soil layer can be measured from the outside.
