PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oxygen concentrating device preventing failure of equipment and reduction of an oxygen concentration derived from a tar-like substance.SOLUTION: This oxygen concentrating device includes: a compressor 3 for supplying raw material air and an adsorption part for adsorbing nitrogen in the raw material air to concentrate oxygen. An air filter 2 capturing fine particles of 0.3 &mum by &ge99.9% is disposed on an air suction side of the compressor 3, and the filtration area of the air filter 2 is 5 cm2/NL or above to a flow rate per minute of the raw material air. Thereby, a fine particle-like substance included in the raw material air is effectively removed, the failure of the compressor 3, an in-line filter 5, a check valve 6, and solenoid valve 8 or the like by the tar-like substance generated by pressurization and heating of the fine particle-like substance by the compressor is prevented, the reduction of the oxygen concentration when using the oxygen concentrating device for a long period is prevented, and an occurrence rate of the failure is drastically improved.COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT【課題】タール状物質に由来する酸素濃度低下と機器の故障を防止する酸素濃縮装置を提供する。【解決手段】原料空気を供給するためのコンプレッサー3と、原料空気中の窒素を吸着して酸素を濃縮するための吸着部とを備え、上記コンプレッサー3の吸気側に、0.3μmの微粒子を99.9%以上捕捉する吸気フィルター2が配置され、上記吸気フィルター2の濾過面積が、原料空気の1分あたりの流量に対して5cm2/NL以上である。このようにすることにより、原料空気に含まれる微小粒子状物質が有効に除去され、それらがコンプレッサーで加圧加熱されて生成するタール状物質によるコンプレッサー3、インラインフィルター5、逆止弁6、および電磁弁8等の故障を未然に防ぎ、酸素濃縮装置を長期間使用したときの酸素濃度の低下を防止し、故障の発生率を大幅に改善する。【選択図】図1
