The invention relates to medical engineering, in particular to devices for producing a fluorescent tomographic image, and can be used for imaging and diagnosis of various body tissues, including pathologically altered, e.g., tumors. Apparatus diffusion fluorescence imaging comprises the control unit, the laser source system electromechanical movements, a radiation detector, signal processing and imaging unit and a fiber optic probe having excitation channel and channel registration. Due to the fact that the output of the excitation channel and input channel registration fiberoptic probe directed toward the test object, is going to analyze the broadband emission from the fluorophore, extending in the opposite direction to the laser radiation. This enables tomographic study is not only small but also large-scale biological objects.
