PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide makeup cosmetics and makeup methods in which stains, freckles and dullness and the like generated in the face by aging are revised into a youthful skin condition by enhancing concealable power by the synergistic effect of a coloring material and a physical contraction force and further by physically contracting and changing skin sagging and skin convexo-concave and the like, the youthful skin condition being maintained for long hours, and the cosmetics and methods being strong to sweat and rain.SOLUTION: Provided is a makeup cosmetic which contains an acrylic copolymer, a water-swellable inorganic polymer, a deflocculant, and coloring material and in which the physical contraction force is expressed. The makeup cosmetic contains 0.5 to 4 mass% of acrylic copolymer with respect to the entire makeup cosmetic and contains 3-15 mass% of water-swellable inorganic polymer with respect to the entire makeup cosmetic.
