In one embodiment a nutraceutical composition is administered to a patient in need of said composition comprising of the following combination of ingredients: policosanol, niacin, guggul, garlic, cynara scolymus, red yeast rice, ginger, holy basil, L-carnitine, chromium picolinate, coenzyme Q10, pantothenic acid, grape seed extract, momordica charantia, and garcinia indica.
