The present invention provides methods for treating cutaneous metastases. Inone aspect, the method can include identifying a treatment area that comprisesone or more lesions containing metastatic cells； and administering an IRMcompound to the treatment area in an amount effective for treating the lesion.In another aspect, the method can include identifying a treatment area thatcomprises one or more lesions containing metastatic cells； and administering aTLR7 agonist to the treatment area in an amount effective for treating thelesion. In another aspect, the method can include identifying a treatment areathat comprises one or more lesions containing metastatic cells； andadministering a TLR8 agonist to the treatment area in an amount effective fortreating the lesion.
