A transparent hair gel composition is provided to enhance hair-fixing property and reduce sticky property in the hand and hair while transparent property is maintained. The transparent type of hair gel composition comprises: 0.1-10 wt.% of meta-cryloyl ethylbetaine metacrylate copolymer represented by the formula(1), and having average molecular weight of 5,000-100,000 Dalton, viscosity at 20 deg. C of 5,000-55,000 cps, melting point of 110-290 deg. C, and positivation of 40-95% 0.01-5 wt.% of acrylate/C10-30 alkyl acrylate crosspolymer and 0.01-10 wt.% of a neutralizing agent, wherein a, b, c, d and e are each independently a mole ratio for each monomer unit, and a+b+c+d+e=1 and the neutralizing agent is triethanolamine, potassium hydroxide, aminomethyl propanol(AMP-95), sodium hydroxide or ammonium hydroxide.본 발명은 투명타입 헤어 젤 조성물에 관한 것으로서, 조성물 총 중량을 기준으로 화학식 1로 표시되되, 질량 평균 분자량 5,000 ~ 100,000, 점도(20℃) 5,000 ~ 55,000cps, 용융점(Tm) 110 ~ 290℃인 물성을 가지며, 양성화도가 40 ~ 95%인 메타크릴로일에칠베타인 메타크릴레이트 공중합체 0.1 ~ 10중량% 아크릴레이트/C10~30알킬 아크릴레이트 크로스폴리머 0.01 ~ 5 중량%및 중화제 0.01 ~ 10 중량%을 포함한다. 본 발명에 따른 헤어 젤 조성물은 투명한 성상을 유지하면서도 모발의 고정력이 우수할 뿐만 아니라, 손과 모발에서의 끈적임이 적다.
