Non-surgical artificial insemination is achieved for sexed and unsexed equinesin a commercially practical manner and with dosages of insemination spermwhich were not previously thought to be practical for commercialimplementation. Practical and field usable techniques for insemination arepresented as well as techniques which offer success ratios at level comparableto the existing routine, high dosage unsexed artificial inseminationtechniques in equines. Improved insemination and sorting systems particularlyadapted to use for sex-selected sperm are disclosed.
