PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mortar having a groove shape which enables downsizing the mortar itself, and a beverage manufacturing apparatus equipped with the same.SOLUTION: In a mortar 2B, a first rubbing face includes a shear groove having a curve profile which extends toward an outer periphery from a rotation center side, and a second rubbing face 360a includes a shear groove 360b having a curve profile which extends the outer periphery from the rotation center side, and both shear grooves are not overlapped in a state that the first rubbing face and the second rubbing face 360a are overlapped. A first mortar 350 and/or a second mortar 360 further include a feed groove 360b having a curve profile which extends toward the outer periphery from the rotation center side.
