The present invention relates to at least one nucleic acid (i) comprising orconsisting of, or (ii) encoding a nucleicacid comprising or consisting of, a sequence selected from the groupconsisting of : 1) SEQ ID NO: 1, SEQ ID NO: 2, SEQ IDNO: 3, and SEQ ID NO: 4, and 2) a sequence derived from SEQ ID NO: 1 to 4 bysubstitution deletion or insertion of at least onenucleotide, provided that a nucleic acid consisting of the sequence derivedfrom SEQ ID NO: 1 to 4 is liable to induce HIV-1 expressionin latent HIV-1 -infected cells, for use as a medicament, in particular fortreating retrovirus infections.
