The purpose is to obtain an antimicrobial-processed ceramic ware. Provided is a method whereby a sanitary ware, tile or the like can be economically antimicrobial-processed and thus an antimicrobial ceramic ware showing long-lasting antimicrobial properties can be obtained. When treated by the existing antimicrobial processing methods, sanitary wares, tiles, etc., which are fired at a high temperature, can hardly exhibit antimicrobial performance and, therefore, a large amount of expensive silver-based materials should be used therein.
