The invention relates to pharmaceutical formulations, andmore particularly to formulations containing cannabinoids foradministration via a pump action spray. In particular, theinvention relates to pharmaceutical formulations, for use inadministration of lipophilic medicaments comprising one or morecannabinoids via mucosal surfaces, comprising: at least onelipophilic medicament which comprises one or more cannabinoids,a solvent and a co-solvent, wherein the total amount of solventand co-solvent present in the formulation is greater than 55%wt/wt of the formulation, the formulation is absent of a selfemulsifying agent and/or a fluorinated propellant, and the andthe cannabinoid(s) is/are present in the formulation in anamount greater than 10 mg/ml.
