PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treating agent of a keratinous fiber, enabling a treatment for dyeing the keratinous fiber again to a desired color tone to be carried out easily, and to provide a method of the dyeing treatment.
SOLUTION: The treating agent of the keratinous fiber contains (A) an alkali agent, (B) an organic solvent and (C) an oxidation dye, and is used by mixing the treating agent with an oxidant composition when being used, and applied to the keratinous fiber such as the hair 11 dyed by a direct dye. The method of dyeing treatment is a method of repeating the dyeing treatment of the keratinous fiber by alternately carrying out the oxidation dye treatment and the direct dye treatment. The first keratinous fiber-treating agent used for the oxidation dye treatment is the agent containing (A) the alkali agent, (B) the organic solvent and (C) the oxidation dye, and to be mixed with the oxidant composition when being used. The second keratinous fiber-treating agent used for the direct dye treatment is the agent containing (a) the direct dye and (b) an oxidation dye-reducing agent.
