[Solution] The problem is solved by a granular material supply device (100), comprising: a granular material storage tank (101) which stores a granular material (203) a discharge device (102) which continuously discharges the granular material (203) which is stored in the granular material storage tank (101) a chute (103) which transfers downward the granular material (203) which is discharged from the discharge device (102) so as to supply said granular material (203) downward to a supply position obstruction bodies (104, 105) which, from non-obstructing positions, intermittently approach obstructing positions whereat the passage of particles through at least a portion of the chute (103) in a cross-section direction is obstructed and a collection path (106) which branches off from the chute (103) so as to guide externally to the chute (103) the granular material (203) which has been obstructed by the obstruction bodies (104, 105).
