PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a massage machine that includes a control part which controls a massage mechanism for continuously and evenly massaging the area from the neck to the shoulders where "meridians" pass through.SOLUTION: The massage machine is configured such that a massage mechanism 3a having a pair of right and left massaging elements 311a is provided in a backrest part 11a. The massage mechanism 3a has a forward/backward movement driving part 36a that moves the mechanism 3a itself in a forward/backward direction with respect to the backrest part 11a, and an elevating/lowering driving part 33a that elevates/lowers the massage mechanism 3a along in a vertical direction of the backrest part 11a. The massage machine is configured to set positions in contact with the neck of a person to be treated when the treatment elements 311a protrude forward as neck contact reference positions f1.
